yes. im obsessed and i have weight issues. *bows fervently*

i STILL have not come to a decision on what option to choose for my attachment but i am definitely more inclined to remain in school for ibp. nearer to home lah. but no money lehhh!! omg!! free labour!! gonna try and ask miss ang if there's any post in taiwan up for grabs.

im just gonna hit town tml after IS and the completion of my leadership assignment (yes, it's still not done) and badger any respectable companies to take me in. if not, then im just gonna go with ibp because...

1.) im lazy to do my resume.
2.) np is nearer to home
3.) i cannot risk going to some uluated place for my attachment

i had cotton and wool for breakfast today. if not, how could i possibly forget to bring my keys out when i went for a jog and had to wait out at my grandma hse till my mum is free to pass me her keys.

so i abandoned my homework and went to thuhan's hse today coz it was her sis bdae and the food was yum! after pigging out, i and her went to jp to shop for her black skirt and shoes coz she is starting work at holiday's inn (see i remembered!) with her junior soon.

felt abit sick at jp due to unknown reasons but still mustered enough energy to go for a haircut at millenia walk. gosh. my previous hairstyle was so long and in the way. preferred and got something short though abit too short.

IS tml. and i swear to finish the essay by tomorrow! wish me luck!

im officially screwed.

i proposed to do the leadership assignment for media management today but i ended up doing it halfway before deciding that i need to take a break and hence, i headed down to kinokuniya to get the latest milk magazine.

seems like i can't get my butt into the school mode. argh. this means i have to stay up late tonight to complete even more of the assignment. haiz. sians.

was supposed to head down to zouk coz there's a party tonight and free entry for those in halloween costumes. decided to give it a pass as i was freaking tired.

oh! and im fat lahhhh. the models on the tommy hilfiger runway show are damn skinny and toned lahhhh. i need to be 55kg! and that means cardio workouts too. =(

gotta plan a fitness plan to get into shape. notice that i never used the word "back". coz i was never into shape. HAHAH.

never mind that i only had classes from 1 to 4 on friday. in fact, every friday.

never mind that i woke up at 730 though i have nothing in particular to do.

never mind that our initial product for advertising had to be scrapped.

never mind that joel and i had to run around campus hunting for f&b products with print advertisements.

never mind that joel and i had to screen every magazine in order to find f&b advertisements.

never mind that i searched through the entire aisle in NP library and preened through every LIME, Seventeen, Lifestyle and Her World to find an advert on f&b.

never mind that a disgusting creature looked at me with an odd expression while i was waving Seventeen in Amanda's face.

because...

some thing is in the mail to brighten my day.

although they promised me that the letter will be sent within 5 working days of the interview date, i received it only yesterday. hope that everything is what i expected or more.

every poly student will face the current dilemma i am currently in.

the inevitable question arise when students are supposed to go for attachment:
should i go for OIAP (Overseas Industrial Attachment Programme), IAP (Industrial Attachment Programme) or IBP (Industry-Based Project)?

a brief intro to the three schemes...

OIAP (self-secured or not) - as stated, it is overseas attachment. the confirmed list of companies NP has secured is not released yet so i am still keeping my options open for this particular choice. so far, mr bangras has announced three countries: thailand, china and india. initially, i wanted to go japan but it is seriously damn freaking expensive! so i'm keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that taiwan or hongkong will pop out in the list soon enough (lazy to find my own lahhhhh).

PROS: 5 months away from home
CONS: 5 months away from home

IAP (definitely self-secured) - i've looked through the companies and nothing appealed to me. zip, zilch, nada. c'mon. would you want to work for a company named "XXX STUDIOS PTE. LTD." no offence to the company, but i'm sorry. your name is not going to look good on my resume when i apply for jobs next time. i simply cannot bear to say that i worked at XXX studios during my attachment to my further employer. unexpectedly, RGS is on the list!!! woohoo!! but... what are the chances of me getting that lah? and so far, i'm only interested in working for two companies which i plan to apply to for my internship. got a feeling they are gonna reject me but no harm trying anyway. honestly, must see the job scope first lah. haha.

PROS: industrial experience but got money!
CONS: i dont want to end up being a coffeeboy. though it means that i do nothing and get paid, hey, i wanna learn something.

IBP - the one that i never will consider before today's briefing. but hey, after going through the briefing, i seriously wouldn't mind doing pr/advert/marcom for trimedia. the no pay's a bitch but hey, the experience is honestly gonna be much more valuable than stapling papers.

PROS: you get to live your passion for 5 months.
CONS: you stay in school.

but luckily i know what areas of interest to pursue!
1.) PR
2.) Marketing
3.) Advertising
4.) Journalism
5.) Web Design

sorry shu, i really dont wanna go pakistan and work with ahsan.

i give you permission to slap me if i change blog again.
